Intellectual Property in Practice: Who is making the most of your IP?

Session Lead: Professor Ruth Soetendorp - Cass Business School, City, University of London
Time: 14.30 - 16.00
Room: Sandon Room – Ground Floor

Intellectual Property rights are key to many successful enterprises. Who owns what IP in your organisation, and why does it matter? If you are using someone else’s IP, what are the benefits, and what are the risks? These questions, together with any IP related matters you might bring, will be addressed in this session through analyzing some IP challenges faced by household names in the Arts & Cultural sector. Using the Boosting Resilience IP Management Decision Tree as a guide, you will come away from this session with increased confidence and enhanced skills to approach your own IP issues. You may also learn to love your IP, and the opportunities it presents.
